Carmel By The Sea- Farmer's Market Thursdays

The Carmel by the Sea farmers market is a weekly event that takes place every Thursday. The market is home to local vendors and farmers, who offer a variety of fresh produce and goods. The market is a great place to find seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as handmade crafts and products. If you're looking for a fun way to spend a Thursday morning, the Carmel by the Sea farmers market is definitely worth checking out!

The market is set up along the north west side of Devendorf Park, on Sixth Avenue between Junipero and Mission Streets. There is plenty of parking available in the lot adjacent to the market, as well as street parking. The market is open from 10 am to 2pm, so there's plenty of time to browse!

One of the great things about the Carmel by the Sea farmers market is that it supports local vendors and farmers. The Market features local certified organic fresh farm produce, eggs, plants, fresh cut flowers, and specialty items such as olive oil, hummus, pizza and bread. Some of our favorite weekly vendors include Hummus Heaven, Flowers at the Sea, Ad Astra Bread, and so many more!

Green Waste Recovery provides a yellow food scrap bin for compostable items and Sustainable Carmel is often onsite to answer any question regarding composting and recycling. Community Groups can also be seen at the Market working to improve local issues, as well as those with a larger impact.

By shopping at the market , you are not only supporting local businesses, but you are also helping to reduce your carbon footprint. The produce at the market is sourced from local farmers, which means that it doesn't have to travel far to get to you. This reduces the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that are produced from transportation.

Come visit the Carmel By The Sea Farmer's Market to support local and spend your Thursday morning in the sun!
